What are you going to eat as your post workout today?
I have my post meal ready to rumble here! I made myself a mixed green salad. It includes Kale, arugula, iceberg lettuce, sliced almonds, quinoa, lemon juice, and pulp. With some blackberries, tuna, and homemade mayo. All mixed together. This took me a whole whopping 10 minutes to prepare (mostly washing all and throwing into a container). Now, I have what I need to eat immediately (within 45 minutes) after my pole work-out today. WIN!
Side note: All veggies are good when it comes to providing the vitamins and minerals our body needs for best health and wellness. But, dark, leafy greens and members of the cruciferous family (like broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and kale)—have higher concentrations of antioxidants, fiber, and other important nutrients. SO always when making your decisions at the store and prep work you make sure to include dark green veggies first then add from there.
